Lately, I’ve been pretty busy finishing up a bunch of jobs - thus not promoting myself or my website(or updating this blog). I did a little experiment testing what self-promotion and advertising of www.rickyrhodes.com on Social Media(Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn) did for me. The graphic pretty much sums it up. On Sunday, I promoted the hell out of my website and the hits on my site spiked. It works - Socialize!

Pretty much. The interesting thing is, while somethings are more fun than others, it is the entire spectrum that I enjoy. It’s the lessons that I learn and the defeat that I experience on a daily basis that generate the most forward momentum. Without that, there is no jump from “toying with a concept” to “implementing a successful idea”. Soak it up.
Great graphic and commentary. I definitely agree with you. I strive to fail and learn from my mistakes and then learn some more. From creative to business it’s all a roller coster just like that red line. Always good stuff coming from this blog!
